My name is Sandra Ginever, my husband, Quentin, and I have two children, Leighton and Anessa. I have lived in Morrinsville for most of my life and was educated at local schools (David Street, Morrinsville Intermediate and Morrinsville College). Activities we do as a family are mountain biking, swimming, tramping, skiing, fishing and music. We are all members of Hamilton City Brass. Recently I joined a beginners band "Brass Factory" playing the trombone. This was a completely new experience for me and I just love it, and feel that this is evidence that learning is a life long process.
I have been teaching since 2000, initially in secondary education teaching English, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Physical Education. In 2015 I went to the University of Waikato and studied primary education in a one year graduate diploma programme. For the last two years I have worked at a number of local schools as a relief teacher. I am excited by the programme offered here at Morrinsville Intermediate, and I want to challenge students to grasp every opportunity they can and make the most of their intermediate years. Kia U Ki Te Pai - what ever you do, let it be your best.
