My name is Kerry-Ann Burgoyne and have been in the education field for sixteen years. I originally studied Social Sciences majoring in psychology and then completing my Masters with a first class honors in Health Development and Policy. I later undertook a Graduate diploma in Education and started my first teaching position in Tauranga. After teaching for nine years in Tauranga the opportunity arose for us to move to Matamata so my husband could expand his agricultural business. An RTLB position became available and I believed that this could be a fantastic opportunity to work with a range of ages, teaching personnel providing advice and guidance for students with learning and behaviour needs. I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Special Needs Resource Teaching in 2010. I enjoy being part of a team and working with a wide range of professionals to improve learning and behaviour outcomes for students in our care.
