I have very fond memories growing up in the Piako district as a child and I have loved raising my whanau in Morrinsville. I believe our small district has many great things to offer.

My husband and I are both highly involved in the sporting community and enjoy seeing children flourish within sports. I have had the pleasure to be involved in Basketball, Netball, Dragon Boating, Waka Ama, Touch rugby and Ballroom Dancing over my years.

I am honoured to be a teacher at Morrinsville Intermediate School as well as working alongside such a dedicated staff.

I look forward to meeting with you all.

General Information

Kia ora koutou, my name is Jane Kite and I am thrilled to be teaching at Morrinsville Intermediate this year. I am a mum, a wife and I have two energetic, naughty Jack Russells. My background as a lawyer and my role as a mum sparked my interest in the teaching and learning of our tamariki, and I have been teaching now in both primary and high school for the past four years.

My passion is Social Sciences and teaching students about the world around them. I love developing confidence in students and enjoy them seeing their accomplishments. I look forward to meeting all of you and sharing our learning journey together.

General Information

Kia ora,
My name is Shaun Armstrong and I have been part of the Morrinsville Intermediate teaching team since the beginning of 2020. I am from Tauranga, Bay of Plenty and I am looking forward to calling Morrinsville my new home.

My hobbies outside of school include sports and being outdoors. I enjoy exploring the New Zealand bush whenever I get the chance.

I have a strong passion for teaching Mathematics, PE, Te reo Māori and Literacy. My teaching philosophy is based around relationships and getting to know my students, and I am a believer in 'work hard, play hard'. If we are able to work hard and efficiently we are able to have more time to enjoy the rewards. I'm very excited to get to know you all and have a great year ahead, full of learning and fun.

Ngā mihi,
Shaun Armstrong

General Information

Kia Ora

My name is Kylie Wells and am born and bred in Morrinsville. I came through Morrinsville Intermediate and College before gaining my Bachelor of Education through Massey University in Palmerston North. I then returned back to my home town where I taught for nearly 7 years at David Street School before marrying and having my own two beautiful girls. I went on to teach locally in a variety of roles including 7 years at Springdale School.

I am actively involved in many aspects of our beautiful town, particularly in sports where I play basketball, volleyball and netball. When I am not teaching your wonderful children I am normally outdoors with my whanau enjoying bushwalks and bike riding. I love to participate in adventure races and team events with friends and enjoy challenging myself and my students to try new things and give everything their best effort.

Feel free to pop in to Room 4 and introduce yourself, I look forward to meeting you.
