Kia ora! My name is Anika, and I’m originally from South Africa. I’m a wife, a mum of two, and a teacher who absolutely loves what I do. My family has always been my biggest motivation, and moving to New Zealand has been a big journey for us, filled with challenges, sacrifices and lots of faith. It’s been a dream and a leap of faith to start this new chapter, and I’m so grateful to be here at Morrinsville Intermediate.

I love being creative, spending time with my family and getting to know people. I believe that a little kindness, patience and encouragement can go a long way, and I want my learners to feel welcome, valued and confident to be themselves. I’m really looking forward to getting to know everyone and being part of the Morrinsville Intermediate whānau!
