Kia ora, my name is Anita Muter.

I was born in Coromandel and raised in Tokoroa, and I have lived in the Waikato for the majority of my life. I am married and have two adult children. Spending time with my family is my biggest enjoyment in life. When our calendars sync, together we snow ski, go fishing, diving and mountain biking. I also enjoy working out at the gym, overseas travel, gardening, cardmaking and scrapbooking.

I am an experienced teacher of 22 years, previously teaching at Matamata Intermediate School for 13 years. I have also worked at Putaruru Primary for four years and Tainui Full Primary in Tokoroa for five years. I enjoy outdoor education activities, especially camps, and sports such as multi-sport, kayaking, and cross country.

I believe my strengths as a teacher are my planning, communication and relationships. I am a team player and will work towards common goals for our tamariki with a focus on what’s best for the person, whaanau, school and community as a whole.
